Fulfillment Fund

As our country celebrated Independence Day, it came at a time when many are questioning the guarantee of equality memorialized in our Declaration of Independence. Two historic U.S. Supreme Court decisions —on affirmative action and student loan debt—are leaving Fulfillment Fund’s students and alumni, and many more across the nation, in a state of worry and frustration.

These decisions together create even greater barriers for low-income students and students of color striving to access affordable educational opportunities that create a path to a better life. Postsecondary education is a proven ladder out of poverty, a key to the middle class and better career opportunities.

Through our important mission and effective programs, we remain committed to ensuring access to a quality, affordable college education and supporting our students' educational journeys through graduation and beyond. We know you are reading this because you feel as we do – that our students deserve the chance to pursue an education which ignites economic mobility and a better future. I invite you to stand firm in our collective commitment. Please reach out, get involved, volunteer, or spread the word about how Fulfillment Fund works daily to ensure that underserved students have the support they need to surmount significant obstacles.
