With Seattle hosting the 2023 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, King County Metro, Sound Transit, Kitsap Transit, and the Seattle Department of Transportation Streetcar will go fare-free on Monday, July 10 and Tuesday, July 11.?Many transit options will also provide additional service to support riders when available.

Free fares will help fans get to events, shorten boarding times, and welcome new riders to transit. The fare-free days will run during regular service hours to help fans get to the Home Run Derby (July 10) and the MLB All-Star Game (July 11).

Metro Services
|
- Metro buses, from 3 a.m. on July 10 to 3 a.m. on July 12
- Special event downtown shuttle and extra trips on regular service
- Access Paratransit
- King County Water Taxi, with service being extended until 11 p.m. on both days to accommodate riders
- Metro Flex on-demand services
- Metro buses? fareboxes and ORCA card readers will be covered to remind customers not to pay. The Transit GO Ticket mobile ticketing app will not allow ticket activations for all Metro services during this period

Seattle Streetcar
|
- Seattle Streetcars will operate fare-free during the two events.

Sound Transit
|
- Sound Transit Link light rail will run regular service hours, 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., with additional trains running to accommodate fans attending the Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game. Link will run every eight minutes all day on July 8, 10, and 11
- Special Sounder game train service will be available?on July 10 for the Home Run Derby?and?on July 11 for the All-Star Game.
- Sound Transit riders will not need to purchase a ticket from a ticket vending machine to ride Link light rail, Sounder, or ST Express buses. While Sound Transit?s ORCA card readers will remain uncovered, fares will be set to zero should a rider tap an ORCA card.

Kitsap Transit
|
- Kitsap Transit buses and the Kitsap Fast Ferry service will be fare-free. The Kitsap Fast Ferry docks at Pier 50 from? 4:40 a.m. to 9:40 p.m

Please note, Pierce Transit, Community Transit, and the Seattle Center Monorail will continue to charge regular fares on July 10 and 11.
