For the second year in a row, the American people celebrated Independence Day in the shadow of a disastrous Supreme Court that continues to ignore decades of its own precedent.
The Supreme Court now holds its highest disapproval rating of the century. Not to mention the corruption and scandals that have weakened our trust in the nation’s highest court.
Here’s my take: We need leaders in Congress who will strengthen ethical standards across the board in Washington. It’s also clear we need a Democratic majority to act as a check against these attacks on our freedoms.
