I hope you’re staying cool amid the record summer heat that’s making its way across the country. We have the A/C on full blast here at No Labels, but we can’t help still being fired up by Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal editorial that forcefully and eloquently made clear the justness of No Labels’ efforts to give the American people more choices at the ballot box. It's a must-read for anyone who believes that American democracy is ready for a new way forward, a path that is not bound by whatever the two major party establishments decide to give us.
I’m thankful to the Journal for recognizing the belief that our team and our millions of supporters – whom they rightfully called patriots – have held close for the past 13 years – the belief that Americans deserve better than the polarizing status quo in our politics.
And very soon, we’ll be ready to show exactly what that looks like. Later this month, we will be launching our policy booklet: Common Sense. The booklet, inspired by the revolutionary spirit of Thomas Paine's historic pamphlet that sparked the American Revolution, isn’t just a collection of policy proposals, but a rallying call for decency, respect, and cooperation in American politics. With 30 big ideas addressing some of the nation's most pressing challenges — from our budget and immigration to education and America's place in the world — this agenda is the result of careful thought, rigorous research, and years of dialogue with tens of thousands of Americans.
But to turn this vision into a reality, we need your support. As we look towards the 2024 elections, we’re aiming to share these commonsense ideas with as many Americans as possible and show them there’s a way past the partisan inaction and towards the problem solving we deserve.
You can help us shake up the status quo and reshape American democracy by contributing to No Labels. With your support, we can give a voice to the commonsense majority and find leaders who have the courage to listen, leaders who will take us in the direction most Americans want to go. Let's show that there's more that unites us than divides us.
Donate today, and let's make our Common Sense the common ground for all.
Onwards and upwards,
Margaret White
