We should talk about this.
The Supreme Court rulings last week were outrageous. Among their other terrible rulings, they decided (on the final day of Pride Month no less) that it’s fine for businesses to discriminate against LGBTQ+ Americans.
Our kids shouldn’t have to worry about being the subject of discrimination on race, sexual orientation, or gender.
It’s horrifying that in 2023 this is still a topic for debate. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
Sign our petition before the end of this week to take a stand for LGBTQ+ Americans and demand equality.
Sadly, suicidality is higher among LGBTQ+ kids. This means they need allies who will stand with them, not bigots who refuse to support equality.
I’ve seen it firsthand in the hospital: LGBTQ+ youth who are struggling, especially in light of my state legislature’s attacks on trans youth. Too many kids don’t get the support they need from their families, communities, and certainly not judges or legislators. It’s why I wear a pride flag and a trans equality flag on my hospital ID badge.
Their Future PAC exists to unequivocally support all kids, especially the most vulnerable.
