Team,

Big news: Maryland just became the latest state to pass a $15 minimum wage for its residents! While this is cause for celebration, workers across the country deserve to receive fair living wages no matter what state they live in.

Congress hasn’t passed a federal minimum wage increase since 2009, so our team at the Fairness Project has fought alongside voters and won 10 ballot measure campaigns in eight states and localities to raise wages to the level workers need and deserve!

We’re proud of the work we’re doing to ensure workers are receiving a fair living wage and are able to work safely thanks to strong labor protections. But friends, we can’t stop fighting until Americans are guaranteed a livable wage all across the country – and we can’t do it without your help.

Please sign on to our petition now and demand Congress take action to raise the federal minimum wage to a livable wage! [[link removed]]

Too many Americans are struggling to put food on the table or pay their bills. As a result, citizens have been taking matters into their own hands to raise wages when politicians won’t do their jobs.

From Nebraska to California, we’ve shown we can create the change our communities want and deserve by showing up at the ballot box. We’re gearing up for 2023 and 2024, but in the meantime, please add your name to our petition and demand a raise in the federal minimum wage! >> [[link removed]]
