As New York City’s top watchdog, Comptroller Brad Lander has spent the last year and a half fighting for competent, compassionate government for all New Yorkers.

Just in the past few months, Brad has shed light on the humanitarian crisis at Rikers Island and the urgent need for federal oversight.

He fought against short-sighted budget cuts to essential city services.

And he always shows solidarity with organized labor, including UPS workers who are currently fighting for a new contract.

It just so happens that tomorrow, July 8, is Brad’s birthday!

So we thought we’d give some of Brad’s strongest supporters (that’s you, John) the opportunity to send him a birthday message.
