LGBTQ+ Stories You Should Know About

Endorsed: Mondaire Jones for the U.S. House!

Mondaire Jones is once again running for the U.S. House – and we’re endorsing him! Mondaire previously made history in 2020 when he and U.S. Representative Ritchie Torres became the nation’s first Black out LGBTQ+ members of Congress.

We know Mondaire is ready to win again and be a strong voice for equality from New York’s 17th district.

Mondaire Jones Tweet: I’ve never been Washington's choice. It's because I stand up to corruption. I battle with Republicans trying to overthrow our democracy & ban abortion, even as I push my party to fight harder for working people. I'm running to finish the work I began. Chip in

Money Makes Campaigns Go ‘Round

The fight to hold U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin’s essential pro-equality seat has already begun. And Tammy is off to a fantastic start: she raised a whopping $3.2 million in the second quarter! According to Spectrum News, that’s the highest dollar amount ever raised in a Wisconsin Senate race in one quarter during an off-year.

Sarah McBride, running to be the first out trans person elected to the U.S. Congress, also announced a substantial fundraising haul after just five days on the campaign trail. As Mayor Annise Parker told The Washington Post, “Sarah McBride is ready for prime time.”

Sarah McBride tweet: Thanks to your support, we're already building a grassroots campaign that's breaking records. In just the first five days of this campaign, we raised more than $414,000, including the generous support of almost 550 Delaware donors from every corner of this state.

Growing LGBTQ+ Political Power in Mississippi

Political Manager Eliza Fox recently returned from a trip to the Magnolia State, where she met with two of our endorsed candidates! Spotlight candidate Fabian Nelson, running to be the first out LGBTQ+ person elected to the state legislature, knocked doors with Eliza and discussed campaign strategy. Eliza also met with our candidate for the Pike County Board of Supervisors, Justin Lofton.
