Dear Neighbor,

Independence Day is a great time to get together with family and friends, kick back, relax, and enjoy the summertime here in California. It’s also a time to reflect on our freedoms and what it truly means to be an American.

This year, I was proud to spend the holiday visiting cities across our district. On the Fourth of July, I was honored to join local leaders in the City of Walnut to celebrate our nation’s birthday and the incredible community in Walnut. Thank you all for having me!


On Tuesday, it was great to join Diamond Bar Mayor Andrew Chou and members of the city council for their patriotic concert. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to meet some of you for the first time!


I had a blast spending this holiday with you and your families, and I hope everyone had a safe and celebratory Fourth of July!
