As we’ve seen from the recent Supreme Court decisions regarding affirmative action and religious convictions, the leaders we choose to represent us have a dramatic impact on the direction of our country.
Our justices and judges are supposed to uphold and interpret the laws as they are written and not give in to the passions of the day. And these recent decisions have shown that the court is willing to act in a constitutional and ethical way.
Decisions like these and many others such as Roe V. Wade show why it is important to elect Republicans committed to ethics and integrity in the legal system. And as your voice in Washington, I promise to uphold our laws just as these six justices have. And I will work with my colleagues in the House to build a nation with liberty and justice for all!
