A week ago, I was emailing you about our campaign’s very first reporting deadline—our Q1 finance report will be a critical tool in our arsenal for showing everyone how strong our team is. We’re still getting everything together on that (you really want to make sure that you’re dotting all your i’s and crossing all your t’s when it comes to compliance), but like I said on Saturday, I’m very pleased with our numbers.

John, we’re going to show that this is a campaign powered by supporters from every single part of North Carolina—and more than 95% of all the money we raised came from right here, in-state. That’s going to be a pretty powerful testament to the grassroots behind this movement.

But money isn’t the only way we can show all the people watching us that North Carolinians from every part of our state believe in this movement to make government a force for good.
