Hello,

Recently, we asked CPAH supporters to share their experiences of when a hospital was there for you during a time of need. Over and over again, these stories highlighted the quality care and compassion that hospital workers deliver every single day.

Here are some of these stories:

" The nurses taking care of me were AMAZING! They were alert, vigilant, tirelessly patient and thorough in their care. My respect for these amazing men and women was humbling and so [sic] huge!" - Jean C., Gainesville, FL

"I am 83 years old. I went through cancer and heart disease. I am still able to hold a Coast Guard Master's license and work as a charter boat captain. This is only because of the amazing care I received at the hospitals where I was a 'guest'. " - Bill K., New Castle, NH

"When I broke my leg in 2021, Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth, VA was there for me all the way , with quick attention, courteous and respectful service and skilled treatment." - Mary C., Portsmouth, VA

"Our rural hospital is only a short distance from where I live. When I woke up at 5 am with the worst headache I had ever had, I went to the ER there and they were wonderful. They gave me medicine and transferred me to a large hospital…I had had a brain-bleed stroke. I would not have made it had we not had a hospital with an ER here. I am so thankful for our hospital. " - Janice T., Crockett, TX

These inspiring stories offer gratitude towards the exceptional health care professionals who make a difference every day in communities around the country. We invite you to join in sharing your hospital experiences. [[link removed]"><img alt=]
