Hello John,

Did you know the clean air movement began in Pennsylvania?

In October 1948, 20 people in Donora, Pennsylvania died from smog and another 6,000 developed respiratory illnesses. It was one of the worst air pollution disasters in our nation's history. In response, the federal government began researching air pollution and eventually passed the Clean Air Act.

Last month’s Code Red Air Quality Alerts are our generation's Donora Smog Disaster.

We know this is the direct result of climate change fueling wildfires in Canada — making them more frequent and more severe. Let's be clear: If we don't do something about climate change, we are going to see a lot more Red and Purple air quality alerts.

Unfortunately, that's the future we're looking at if Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick stays in Congress. Just last month, he voted to give Big Oil an $11 billion (with a B!) tax break and to kill thousands of clean energy jobs.

If we want to get meaningful action to clean up our air and address climate change, then we need to fire Fitzpatrick. I'm asking you to pitch to my campaign so we can defeat him >>

As a combat veteran, I view the climate crisis and protecting our clean air and water as not just a public health issue, but a national security issue. You can bet that I will fight my hardest to advocate for policies that tackle climate change, invest in green jobs and infrastructure, and hold polluters accountable in Pennsylvania and beyond.

Thanks for supporting my campaign.
