John,
In a momentous victory for free speech and religious freedom, last week the US Supreme Court in a 6-3 decision held that the state of Colorado cannot force a website designer to create messages that support same-sex marriage against her religious beliefs.
“Consistent with the First Amendment, the Nation’s answer is tolerance, not coercion. The First Amendment envisions the United States as a rich and complex place, where all persons are free to think and speak as they wish, not as the government demands” wrote Justice Neil Gorsuch.
For 26 years, PJI has counseled, represented and defended all those who came to us because their religious freedoms were violated, leaving no individual behind. Presently, we have over 150 active cases, many of which involve religious freedom. And in the future, we will continue to stand in the gap, defending this most precious God-given right.
And we’ll continue to help all those who come to us when powerful forces violate their religious freedoms, not cherry-picking clients or cases based on marquee value. No, we’ll do it as we have for 26 years…For everyone and all at no charge.
