Senior ADL Leaders Visit London and Paris



Jonathan Greenblatt, ADL CEO, Marina Rosenberg, SVP for International Affairs, and Andrew Srulevitch, Senior Director for European Affairs, visited London and Paris for meetings with Jewish leaders, government representatives, and others. Among the issues discussed were the increase in global antisemitism, the rise of extremism and the challenge of online hate. Highlights included:

The signing of a

Memorandum of Understanding between ADL and CRIF , the French Jewish community’s representative organization, to develop an online education tool for French schools on Jewish identity and antisemitism.

A meeting with

former British Prime Minister Tony Blair on several geopolitical issues, including extremism and hate online.

Meetings with the Community Security Trust, the British Jewish security group, and the Board of Deputies of British Jews, the UK’s Jewish representative organization.

Israel and the Middle East


ADL said it was appalled by the

killing of four Israelis by Palestinian terrorists attack outside the West Bank settlement of Eli, and expressed condolences to the families of those killed and injured.


Following a violent rampage by extremist Israeli settlers targeting Palestinian villages in the West Bank, ADL

called on Israeli security forces to arrest those involved and do more to protect Palestinian individuals and property.

strongly condemned attacks on Christians in Jerusalem by members of the Jewish extremist group Lehava.


Carole Nuriel, Senior Regional Director for Israel and MENA, participated in a

conference on Interfaith Dialogue in Marrakesh, Morocco , organized by the Inter Parliamentary Union. As part of the conference, Manara, the UAE-ADL partnership, hosted a side event that included a panel of Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist and Hindu religious leaders.

Following comments by the head of a major Bulgarian political party who called Bulgaria’s main Jewish organization “Nazis,” CEO Jonathan Greenblatt

wrote to Bulgarian PM Denkov asking him to denounce this hate speech and reject antisemitism.


ADL strongly condemned Russian President Putin for

his hateful comments demeaning Ukrainian President Zelensky’s Jewish identity.


Following ADL’s public engagement and private outreach to the Norwegian Wealth Fund, the Fund announced its decision
