Ten U.S. companies have admitted to price gouging under the guise of inflation–while Americans struggle to put food on the table, these companies enjoyed record-setting increased profit margins.

Even as the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress battle to reduce inflation, corporations continue to keep prices high, and raise them even higher–in order to line their pockets.

This is shameful, and Congress must address this greed at our expense immediately!

Price gouging has led to corporate profits reaching all-time highs. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve may keep raising interest rates on consumers to curb “inflation” after a string of 10 consecutive rate hikes from the Federal Reserve in an attempt to curb it. And while inflation is slowing, the Fed’s strategy of repeated interest rate hikes has been unable to contain a key driver of excessive consumer prices.

Congress must crack down on this unchecked corporate greed. We need legislation that would hold big corporations accountable for their greedy price hikes.

Congress must rein in price gouging and relieve the current financial pressure consumers face.
