SUMMER FUNDRAISER FINAL REPORT
Dear SPUC Supporter and Friend,

This week, I sent you the final email of our summer email fundraising campaign.

In that email...

* I explained the serious decisions that lie ahead of me in this national economic crisis, as Chief Executive of SPUC

* I sounded a RED ALERT SITUATION, given the growing disconnect between income and expenditure

* I laid out the various essential areas of our work that may have to be cut, and considered the implications of each cut.

As I said in that email, only a financial miracle could stave off cuts to those essential areas of work.

So I am very pleased to say that YOUR GENEROSITY delivered that miracle.

* Our target was £50,000
* Since the final email, we have exceeded this and reached an incredible £58,398.78.

At least for now, we have some breathing space to plan and to proceed.

Thank you!

When I saw your response to the
RED ALERT SITUATION, I was speechless.

The outpouring of donations and support since that email has been staggering.

This should set us in solid stead, at least for the next few months.

But we are not out of the woods yet. The powerful abortion lobby is stretching itself over our country and pushing for abortion decriminalisation everywhere.

* In the coming weeks I shall unveil our strategy to fight against the decriminalisation designs of our opponents.

But the gap between our income and essential expenditure remains, and the cost-of-living crisis shows no sign of stopping – interest rates and energy bills are still extremely high.

As I have kept saying, I have to balance the books. Unfortunately, it is almost inevitable that there will have to be cuts in the near future.

And given the Abortion Lobby’s relentless assaults on our precious babies, now is not the time to be making cuts at all – in fact, we need to be spending more in their defence.

For these reasons, I am not able to say that we are out of a RED ALERT SITUATION. There are still too many challenges ahead.

I just hope and pray that you continue being able to support our precious unborn babies – and that SPUC emerges from this period as an even more efficient and even more focused means for building a world where abortion is unthinkable.

In the meantime, we will use your support in powerful defence of life and for the protection of unborn children.

Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.

Yours sincerely,
John Deighan
Chief Executive

PS: If you have not yet contributed – or if you would like to contribute again – you still can, by clicking the link below.

Might I also suggest starting a monthly donation?

Monthly direct debits radically reduce costly bank fees. They allow us to plan forward – and can help us to avoid RED ALERT SITUATIONS like this in the future.
