Heritage Foundation Exposes Educational Publishing Giant’s “Anti-Racism Pledge” Pushing CRT in Schools
- Pearson, the world’s largest education-content publisher, made a commitment to "embedding anti-racism" in teaching and learning, a recent Heritage Foundation report shows.
- Pearson, like so many other corporate behemoths, rushed all-in on “equity” in 2021, with new editorial guidelines vowing to make woke concepts like “intersectionality” and “colonial discourse” part of everything it does.
- Heritage researcher Jonathan Butcher found that terms such as “anti-bias” and “anti-racism” are embedded in Pearson’s content which “falsely maintains that America is systemically racist and that its system of laws perpetuates a culture that oppresses women, people who are confused about their sex (‘trans’ individuals), and ethnic minorities”.
- The report recommends Congress investigate material Pearson plans to create for the federal workforce and that state lawmakers require education officials to review the publisher’s content and reject any that violate discrimination laws or apply CRT

Biden’s Energy Policies Strengthen China at America’s Expense
- The Biden administration is favoring China with new proposed Environmental Protection Agency rules requiring 60% of new vehicle sales to be electric by 2030 and 67% by 2032.
- These rules would raise driving costs for Americans, and poor and middle-class Americans disproportionately would pay the price.
- America is currently energy independent due to vast resources of oil and natural gas that have been discovered and produced through innovative technology. However, should EPA finalize its recent proposed regulations on tailpipe emissions and power plant emissions without major changes, America would become less energy independent and more dependent on China for wind turbines, solar panels, electric batteries, and many associated components.
- China dominates battery technology, accounting for over 70% of global electric vehicle battery production capacity, so this rule would line the CCP's pockets.
- Congress should ensure that tax credits intended for domestic manufacturers of batteries and EVs are used by American companies and not Chinese ones and roll back agency regulations and guidance allowing foreign companies to benefit.

Big Tech Poses A Formidable Challenge to Maintaining Self-Government in the Digital Age
- Big Tech has created a digital environment for humans that has been designed as a substitute for real community.
- Starting with handheld devices and mobile apps, Big Tech invites toddlers to become lifelong users of screens. Many applications and programs designed for children are manipulative, often exploiting psychological vulnerabilities.
- Instagram and TikTok utilize features such as infinite scrolling and user-specific algorithms intended to captivate their users and lock them into feedback loops. The personalized content that dominates users’ social media feeds is only made possible by the constant monitoring of their digital behavior, which produces personal data that informs the algorithm’s recommendations.
- Big Tech companies have spent decades developing platforms and devices tailored for each stage of life which encourage an addictive dependency on technology.
- Despite their promises to enhance human connection, it’s more clear than ever that Big Tech is driving us further apart by removing users from the real world and that Americans are being conditioned to use tech in a passive, servile way.
