Hey John,

Welcome to the July edition of Tam's Takes!

Can you believe I'm officially one year old now? I'm so proud of
everything my team and I have achieved these past 12 months.
Things like:

* keeping the Australian Cellar Door Wine grants going for our
local producers
* tanking a bogus $18m slush fund for the Governor-General
* stopping cuts to funding for independent schools
* securing 1200 affordable homes for Tasmania
* helping constituents with issues ranging from housing and
centrelink problems to immmigration.

And we're just getting started. Thanks for all your support over
the last 12 months. I couldn't do this without you.

My question to you:

What do you think are the top issues facing people in Australia
right now?

Be specific - if it's cost of living, what exactly? Maybe it's
electricity bill prices, food prices or securing childcare. Let
me know topics you want to see politicians tackling.

Email me at [email protected] with your thoughts, and
I'll share some of the responses with you next month!

SAVE OUR PHARMACIES

I need your help ( [link removed] ) to back in our community pharmacists. Labor's current policy to
dispense 60-days worth of medication at once is going to
seriously hit these pharmacists. They’ll have to cut staff, cut
tests, cut deliveries, and cut opening hours.

Click here ( [link removed] )to
email your Labor MP or Senator and let them know how this is
going to impact your local pharmacist. This policy is supposed to
help people. But it's just going to end up hurting them.

Until next time,

Tammy
