Team, we’re getting back in the swing of things after wrapping up the first half of the year.
With your generous support, we had a strong second quarter — but that alone won’t get us over the finish line. We still need just the right combination of grassroots energy, smart tactics, and financial resources to defend this district next November.

Early fundraising is one of the key predictors pundits rely on to understand the political landscape. If we don’t top our numbers from last cycle, we’ll end up feeding the narrative of Democratic apathy right when we need to project enthusiasm.
We’re preparing for record-shattering Republican turnout in 2024. Even districts that went blue in 2022 (ahem…IL-06) could flip if we aren’t cautious. That’s why we’re developing a smart, cost-effective strategy that will help us remain one step ahead of the GOP.
Republicans have a number of catastrophic policies on their to-do-list. Outlawing abortion, defunding Social Security and Medicare, revoking protections for pre-existing conditions, and — no joke — weakening child labor laws. They need to see that Democrats have the resources to reject their cynical, cruel agenda.
We’re smack-dab in the middle of the infamous “Summer Slump,” and it’ll be a few more months before things pick up again. We need to make sure we have the resources we need to keep things running smoothly AND make up for likely budget shortfalls while folks are offline for their much-deserved summer relaxation.
