OVC is looking for an experienced Division Director for a full-time position in our State Victim Resource Division. The OVC State Victim Resource Division administers grants and provides technical assistance to sustain and enhance services for victims of crime.
Among other duties, the selected candidate will?
- serve as an OVC grants officer with full technical responsibility for grants administration, management, and oversight.
- develop strategies to enhance OVC program planning, assessment, and performance management processes.
- direct and establish procedures for the receipt, review, and award of applications for funding, and the monitoring of awards.
- supervise a group of employees performing work at the GS-15 level and below.
- provide administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit.
Applicants should have experience in?
- implementing and managing Federal grants and cooperative agreements related to victim services.
- directing and overseeing the administration, terminating, and closeout of grants.
- managing large-scale programs related to victim services.
- directing sensitive or highly complex negotiations related to victim services.
- developing, implementing, and evaluating grants management program plans, strategies, and operations related to victim services.
