Last week, I signed two executive orders to end unjust practices against LGBTQ+ Arizonans.

The first executive order ensures that our state employee health care plan covers gender-affirming surgery, because every Arizonan deserves to live as their authentic self without the financial burden of medical debt.

The second executive order bans state programs from funding or supporting conversion therapy, protecting young LGBTQ+ Arizonans from this dangerous, debunked practice. This makes our state the 27th in the nation to enact protections against conversion therapy.
