Republicans applauded the Supreme Court's disastrous decision last year to place millions of Americans' access to abortion in the hands of anti-choice state legislators. Then this spring, we witnessed anti-choice extremists launch a fresh attack on medication abortion.

We need leaders who will codify our right to reproductive health care -- and Sens. Mazie Hirono (HI) and Tammy Duckworth (IL) have proven that they're up to the task.

Just last month, Sens. Hirono and Duckworth reintroduced the Right to Contraception Act to the Senate floor -- a landmark piece of legislation that would codify our right to contraceptive access. When autonomy is on the line, EMILYs List-endorsed women are rolling up their sleeves and fighting hard.
