John,

The Colorado GOP has descended into all-out chaos. At the epicenter of this self-destructive display is El Paso County, home to Colorado Springs and represented by Republican Congressman Doug Lamborn for the past 16 years.

In 2018, a federal judge rescued Lamborn's career by waving him onto the primary ballot despite his failure to collect enough petition signatures. Since then, his good luck has continued despite the state’s unmistakable trend away from electing Republicans. Well, this year it seems like Doug Lamborn’s luck may finally run out.

Colorado Springs is on pace to vote even more Democratic than in 2022; in May of this year, voters in the city elected its first progressive mayor in more than 30 years. Colorado Springs, and the district at large, is rapidly becoming more diverse, more educated, and younger than ever before. On top of all this, Lamborn’s district now contains less of rural Colorado and is over three points less favorable to Republicans than before redistricting.

The ground is shifting under Rep. Lamborn’s feet, and we have a chance to elect a strong Democratic voice in the second largest city in Colorado. With Republicans pushing a national abortion ban and countless other disastrous policies, the 5th district presents an opportunity we can’t afford to miss.

Can you help us lay the groundwork to flip Lamborn's seat in 2024 with a $15 contribution? The political situation is lining up to make this a tough race for Lamborn, and with a dedicated effort to unseating him, we may be able to pull off an upset and flip another House seat in Colorado:
