Hi John,
This is Joe Mayall, one of your elected delegates to represent Denver DSA at the upcoming DSA National Convention. I’m honored to have been chosen, and it will be the privilege of a lifetime to stand beside my fellow delegates as we represent the Denver chapter to our national comrades.
Unfortunately, I am one of multiple delegates who do not have the cash on hand to cover the costs of traveling to Chicago, lodging, food, and registration. We really want our full slate of delegates to be present, as each of us brings a different set of strengths and skills to the table. That’s why we’re asking if you can help us do what you elected us to by donating to our travel fund.
Any amount — even just a few dollars — will help. Just as we aim to build a multiracial, working class political base by organizing the masses, we’re hoping a broad base of small-dollar donators such as yourself will help us get to convention.
