There are just two days left to renew your support for the Center for Reproductive Rights before our January 31 deadline.
We need you with us, please make a generous gift of $35 to renew your commitment for 2020 and continue to stand by our side in the landmark year ahead of us.
Dear Team,
How supporters like you respond this month will set the tone for 2020, and we want to make it clear that we are ready for any fight this year may hold—including our upcoming case before the U.S. Supreme Court.
By renewing your commitment today, you will ensure that no matter what our opponents throw at us in the months to come, the Center will be ready. As a Center ally, you are a vital part of our team.
Will you make a generous gift of $35 or more today to renew your support for the Center for Reproductive Rights for 2020?
When you donate by midnight on January 31, you'll receive your official 2020 supporter card as a symbol of your commitment to reproductive rights, so don't wait!
There is so much stake, and we have a very ambitious agenda for 2020.
When you renew today, you will play an integral role in our efforts to:
- Challenge an unconstitutional law before the Supreme Court. On March 4, the Center will head to the U.S. Supreme Court to argue a case challenging a Louisiana law designed to shut down clinics and decimate access to abortion care. This law is identical to the Texas law struck down by the Court in our landmark case, Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt, in 2016.
- Defend and protect abortion access across the U.S. The Supreme Court doesn't need to completely overturn Roe v. Wade for 24 states to effectively ban abortion access. If the Court allows states to increase enforcement of abortion restrictions that have no proven medical benefits, abortion access would further decrease in states across the country. We are bolstering and strengthening our response at the state level by providing legal counsel, policy research, and advocacy support to reproductive health care providers and state advocates across the country.
- Ensure access to contraception. We will continue to litigate our case challenging the Trump administration's rule that would roll back contraceptive coverage under the Affordable Care Act, support other lawsuits challenging the administration's rules on contraception, and engage in advocacy efforts to oppose new federal restrictions.
In all these ways, the Center is fighting to ensure that access to reproductive health care does not depend on the winds of politics or the whims of politicians.
Please let us know you are still standing with us by making your 2020 renewal gift today.
Don't forget, when you donate by midnight on January 31 you'll receive your very own 2020 Center supporter card!
Thank you for all that you do,
Center for Reproductive Rights
