Hi there,

When my grandmother immigrated to the US from Israel, she was driven by
the promise of a strong public education system that would allow her
children to achieve the American Dream.

Inspired by her vision and determination, I began my career fighting for a
more equitable education system because I truly believe that every person
has a right to strong public education and access to that same dream.

Sadly, we saw last week that the Supreme Court’s conservative Justices do
not hold these same beliefs. In just a few days, they delivered a gut
punch to our progress with their decisions to strike down President
Biden's proposal to forgive student loan debt for millions of borrowers
and effectively end affirmative action in higher education.

Instead of moving our country forward, this radical Court continues to
manipulate the Constitution to set our country back 50 years. As a member
of Congress, I will do everything in my power to move our country into the
next 50 — but first, we have to win this consequential race.

[ [link removed]- ]I will dive deeper into what the Supreme Court’s latest decisions mean
for NY-03 and our race, but if I already have your support, can I count on
your $5 today?

After the Court’s disastrous decisions last week, it is undeniable that
the American dream has been pushed further and further out of reach for
far too many New Yorkers — especially here in NY-03.

As someone who had tens of thousands of dollars in student loans, I know
how much of a burden they are and delay — and even completely prevent —
important life events like buying a home and starting a family. Under
Biden’s proposed debt forgiveness plan, many residents of New York’s 3rd
would have been freed from this burden.

It is clear that the Court’s naked political agenda and corruption must be
stopped — and the best way to do that is by holding them accountable in
Congress.

But like I have said before, winning this race will not be easy.
Republicans are going to pour tons of money and resources into holding
onto our district which means we have to do the same, if not more, in
order to win.

[ [link removed]- ]So if you believe in our campaign to flip NY-03 and push for
legislation and accountability that would make the American dream
accessible and affordable for all, will you chip in $5 now?
