John — Trump is threatening me on Truth Social (again) for holding him accountable.
Add this post to the long list of attacks Trump and his cronies have launched against me. I’m used to his vulgar smears, but the “he should pay a big price, and maybe someday he will” is beyond the pale — even for him. Someone so dangerously irresponsible must never hold office again.
Trump and his enablers know that no one has been more effective at holding him accountable for his lies and misdeeds.
In the House, I impeached him and served on the Select Committee on the January 6 Attack. In the Senate, I’ll keep fighting his assaults on our democracy and hold his biggest enablers accountable.
His obsession is the highest compliment — it means I’m doing my job.
But John, after MAGA Republicans in the House voted to censure me last month, it’s clear that Trump and his cronies will stop at nothing to keep me away from the Senate. Marjorie Taylor Greene even named my Senate campaign as a reason to censure me and keep me from representing the State of California, as if Californians care about her opinion on who should represent them.
I’ll always stand up to Trump and anyone who attacks our democracy. But to keep up this work and stay above their vicious lies, I need your support:
