The Supreme Court now has a chance to rein in the extremists and support public safety.

John–

Gun violence impacts all of us—and gun extremists want the courts to force guns into every space and every situation, even if it's deadly.

From allowing guns in public spaces that put us in danger to experiencing the daily impacts of gun violence in our communities, we want to hear how the gun violence epidemic and gun extremists' deadly "guns everywhere" agenda is impacting you.

Last year, the Supreme Court issued a dangerous and misguided ruling in the Bruen decision, striking down a core component of New York's concealed carry law that had been on the books for more than 100 years. It opened up the courts to chaos and uncertainty, and cleared the way for extremist judges to issue dangerous decisions.

It also gave gun extremists a clear call to action: Use the courts to advance their radical, "guns everywhere" agenda.

In February, a dangerous and extreme decision from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in United States v. Rahimi held that it is unconstitutional to prohibit people subject to domestic violence restraining orders from having guns. The good news is that the Supreme Court has now agreed to review Rahimi. If the Court correctly applies the Bruen decision, it should reverse the dangerous Fifth Circuit decision and restore this critical federal gun safety law.

A bad decision from the Supreme Court would be a death sentence for women and families. Gun laws that protect victims of domestic abuse are common sense, have a long history of bipartisan support, and are among the most important public safety laws we have. People with dangerous, abusive, and violent histories shouldn't be able to access a deadly weapon.

But just like gun extremists want to force more guns in more places, they also want the courts to put more guns in the hands of dangerous individuals.

Despite extremist decisions like the Fifth Circuit's, the door hasn't closed on gun safety. Even though the Bruen decision was dangerous and misguided, we've seen judges around the country side with gun safety.

And thanks to the help of Everytown Law's litigation team and the grassroots volunteers across the country keeping up the fight, we're making sure that our country's judges prioritize public safety.

As we prepare to continue our fight for gun safety in the Supreme Court, we want to hear how you've been impacted by the gun violence crisis. Share your story.

Thank you for being a part of this movement. Together, we can create a future free from gun violence.
