At VoteRiders, the summer months don't slow us down! We're on a mission to reach millions of voters about the voter ID rules where they live and help them get an ID if they don't have one. 

I'm excited to announce TWO opportunities for you get involved next week:

Voter ID Assistance Training: Tuesday, July 11, at 7pm ET (4pm PT / 6pm CT).

We’re looking for dedicated virtual and in-person volunteers to provide free voter ID assistance to eligible voters in key communities where VoteRiders has staff on the ground including Houston TX, Columbus GA, Atlanta GA, Pittsburgh PA, Orlando FL, Charlotte NC, Madison WI, and Milwaukee WI. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, computer savvy, passionate about people, and ready to get more involved this training is for you!

Ohio Letter Writing Party: Thursday, July 13, at 7pm ET (4pm PT / 6pm CT).

Earlier this year, Ohio enacted one of the strictest voter ID laws in the country. On August 8, the state will hold its first election since the new law went into effect. That means millions of eligible voters need to know they have to bring an accepted form ID to vote this time. Join us as we write letters to Ohio voters to let them know what type of ID they should bring and what to do if they don’t have one.

We rely on the dedication and power of thousands of VoteRiders volunteers to get the job done. 💪💪
