Your will is your way to fight hate and bigotry in all forms while seeking justice and equity.

Dear Friend,

August is National Make-A-Will Month, and as the saying goes, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” At the SPLC, we take it a step further: Your will is your way to fight hate and bigotry in all forms while seeking justice and equity.

This month, I encourage you to make your own will, and make your own way to protect the people and causes you value. You can join over 1,200 SPLC supporters who have used FreeWill’s free estate planning tool to get started.

When you create your will this month, you are not just creating a document. You are creating a way to:

  • Dictate your vision for the future, and your assets
  • Show your loved ones just how much you care about them
  • Preserve hope and create generational change with SPLC

Create my will

This month is also an opportunity to consider what legacy of impact you want to make. By including a gift in your plans to the SPLC, you’ll provide sustained support in our fight against hate and injustice, for years to come. Click here to create your legacy.

I hope this resource can be helpful to you or a loved one as you make your will — and make your way — this month.

With gratitude,
