Earlier today we launched our Pre-Budget Submission highlighting the pressing need for support for young people and the youth sector in Budget 2024 as part of our ongoing campaigning for greater investment in youth work.

MRCI: Fair Fees Campaign

** No Name Club: Super Talent Awards 2023

No Name Club held their annual Super Talent Competition on May 27th in Ballinrobe Co. Mayo. A great day was had by all, and the judges were extremely impressed with the talent on show.

Foróige: Connect Safely - Online Safety Programme for Youth Workers and Volunteers

The Connect Safely Programme promotes safer use of digital resources, equipping young people with the skills to safely benefit from being online, while also empowering young people to safely participate in their online communities as positive digital citizens. A training will be held for youth workers and volunteers in Pearse St Library, 138-144 Pearse Street, Dublin 2 on Wednesday 27th September from 10.30am - 4.30pm.

** IAYO: Irish Youth Wind Ensemble

The Irish Youth Wind Ensemble will be performing two concerts this August, in Cork at MTU Cork School of Music on Saturday, 5 August at 6.30pm and a second concert on Sunday, 6 August at 3pm in the Redemptorist Church, Limerick.

VSI: Anti-Militarism & Irish Neutrality

Each month, on the last Tuesday of the month, VSI will hold a workshop hosted by volunteers on a relevant topic related to social justice and sustainability. This month, the workshop will be on the subject of Anti-Militarism & Irish Neutrality. The meetup will take place online, from 19:00 – 20:00, and is open to all.

Labour Youth: Tom Johnson Summer School

The Tom Johnson Summer School 21-23 July 2023 will take place at Wynn’s Hotel, Dublin City centre. This year's theme is on building and maintaining a democratic society with guest speakers including Esther Lynch, General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC).
