Last call: Petrochemical polluters make for bad neighbors
Today is the last day to submit public comments to EPA! Take action to fight against pollution from petrochemical facilities.
Dear John,
Clean air isn’t something we should take for granted. That’s why it’s our responsibility to push back against big polluters who pump toxins into the air we breathe. Here’s how you can help:
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a new rule that would significantly reduce toxic air pollution from petrochemical facilities, and today is our last chance to submit comments.
Don’t miss your chance to speak up for stronger safeguards against toxic air pollution! Submit a public comment to EPA before they close the window later today. [link removed]
By securing stronger safeguards against petrochemical pollution we can protect the health and safety of communities across the nation. Take action before the comment period closes today! [link removed]
Thank you for your leadership,

Dear John,
Everyone has a right to breathe clean air and live free from harmful air pollution.
For too long, however, petrochemical companies have pumped toxic pollution into the air we breathe, threatening the health and safety of everyone living nearby. Now we have an opportunity to ensure strong pollution safeguards are in place.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to strengthen regulations on pollution from petrochemical facilities. But they need to hear from advocates like you. [link removed]
Join the fight for cleaner air and safe, healthy communities by submitting a public comment to EPA today! [link removed]
Let’s be clear: toxic air pollution from petrochemical facilities threatens the health and safety of communities across the nation. And the impacts can be devastating. Exposure to petrochemical pollution can increase the risk of developing a host of health issues, including lung cancer, respiratory illness, asthma and more.
That’s why it’s crucial that EPA develops stronger safeguards to reduce petrochemical pollution and protect the health and safety of neighboring communities. By strengthening these rules we can help protect our communities–especially people most susceptible to health harms from exposure to this toxic air pollution, including children, seniors and people with chronic illness. And because of legacies of discriminatory policies, these impacts are felt most in Black and brown communities and low-income areas where the petrochemical industry has concentrated its operations.
Simply put: stronger safeguards against petrochemical industry pollution are urgently needed to reduce toxic air pollution, hold polluters accountable and protect the health and safety of neighboring communities. Take action today and send a powerful message to the EPA, “we won’t allow petrochemical pollution to endanger our health!” [link removed]
