I hope that you and your friends and family had a fantastic 4th of July! I spent my day with my team and thousands of Rhode Islanders in Bristol for their historic 4th of July Parade.

Since I launched this campaign, just eleven weeks ago, we have accomplished so much – together:

✅ I formally filed my declaration of candidacy last week 

✅ Our campaign announced that it hit our fundraising goal for last quarter (from over 1,000 individual donors!) 

✅ Began our #GabeOnTheRhode series, knocking on doors, and talking to voters in every city and town in Rhode Island’s First District

This campaign is only possible because of the support of people like you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything.

We have a lot of hard work ahead of us. In fact, just yesterday, one of my opponents announced that he was putting in $600,000 of his own money to try and win this race, nearly two times the amount of money he raised himself. 

You shouldn’t have to be wealthy to run for office – and win. 

I might not have lots of money, but I do have deep public service experience and a commitment to working every day to serve the people of Rhode Island’s First Congressional District.
