Register for ACRE Supported Employment Training:
July 20th - August 24th, 2023
The Colorado Office of Employment First (COEF) is excited to offer the next cohort of our ACRE Supported Employment training. Supported Employment training equips professionals to provide high quality supports that align with Employment First principles. Learn how to support people to enter and thrive in the workforce, to achieve their goals, and find work that aligns with their strengths, needs, and interests.
This six-week remote learning course will cover the ACRE Basic Supported Employment Core Competencies. Participants in the COEF ACRE Support Employment Training will engage in an interactive learning experience that includes live sessions and On-Demand coursework. Learning assignments and knowledge checks will help learners practice supported employment skills while also confirming their understanding of course content. Trainees who complete this course will receive the nationally recognized ACRE Basic Employment Services Certificate.
Cost: $400 per person
Start Date: July 20th, 2023
Live Session Times: 9:00am-12:00pm MDT
Live Session Dates: Live sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays. **This section has been updated.**

Our experienced and engaging instructors will be available throughout the course to support participants in navigating the content and achieving course objectives.

Topeka Metro proposed cuts, special Board decision meeting to be held July 7th at TSCPL
The proposed service changes affect the following routes: #3 East 6th Street; #12 Huntoon; #17 West 17st Street; and #21 West 21st Street. Changes would go into effect August 6, 2023. The public is invited to attend The Decision Meeting on Friday, July, 7, 2023, from 900-1100am at the Topeks/Shawnee County Public Library, located at 1515 SW 10th Avenue in the Marvin Auditorium, Room 101A.
