Last week President Trump opened the doors to make big cuts to Medicare and other social safety-net programs. During his campaign, he promised he wouldn’t slash these programs, but this was the long game that he had plotted all along.

President Trump needs to think again. We won’t allow cuts to these vital programs to sustain his tax cuts for the super rich and biggest corporations. In Congress I am fighting for you and families all across the Granite State -- but I can’t stop President Trump and the GOP without you.

This seat has flipped four times in the last five elections -- if we win this seat in 2020, I’ll be the first incumbent of any party to win re-election here since 2008. We made history in 2018, and we can make history again.

National Republicans and big corporate PACs are already eyeing this seat, WMUR reported that my new opponent raised $100,000 in the first 24 hours of his campaign, and the president has plans to visit the district before the February primary.

Hitting every fundraising benchmark is more important than ever because we’ve got a big fight ahead of us.
