First off, thank you to everyone who came out to our Pride Month Happy Hour last week. We had an incredible time, and it was great to see so many of you!

Join AYD for our Meet the Candidates Happy Hour on Wednesday, July 19th at 7pm over at Spider Kelly's in Clarendon. Hear from over a majority of the candidates for our Arlington Democratic ticket.

AYD Donuts & Donate Clothing Drive [[link removed]]
Have a ton of clothes ready to donate just sitting around? Drop them off and receive a free donut by stopping by our Donuts & Donate: Clothing Drive on Saturday, July 29th from 10am-1:30pm over in the Quincy Room at Arlington Central Library.
We're partnering up with USA Clothing Drive for this project and we ask that you bring all donations in tightly secured trash bags.
Here are the rules for donation from USA Clothing Drive's website:
"What items do we accept?
New and gently used men’s and women’s clothing, children’s clothing, baby clothing, men’s and women’s dress shoes, boots, sneakers, jackets, belts, handbags, backpacks, jean pants, dress pants/slacks, sweaters, dresses, shirts, blouses, skirts, robes, bedsheets, towels, all hats, mittens, scarfs, gloves, wallets, jewelry, watches, uniforms, jerseys, new disposable and cloth diapers.
We do not accept: Items from thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales, books, furniture, appliances, games, sorted merchandise that has removed better quality items from bags, curtain and pillows, baby carriages/bassinets, cribs, and strollers, or other household items, items with holes or rips, stains, mold or items that are wet and/or have an odor."
