I’m so proud of the work we’re doing to build progressive power and take back state legislatures from entrenched Democrats and the GOP so we can see real progress.

And, John, it’s working. Last year alone we saw victories in even some of the reddest states:

• All across the country, a new wave of progressive candidates were elected to state legislatures, ready to start fighting on day one
• Nebraska, D.C., and Illinois passed policies to improve conditions for the working class and protect workers
• Maryland and Missouri voted to legalize marijuana
• Kentucky and Montana, conservative states, voted to keep abortion legal in their states

Believe me when I tell you this: we are nowhere near stopping.

We’re doing this work because all of us deserve better. We need politicians that will actually stand up and fight for us, not serve their own self interests.

If we want to see any change, we need to build progressive power. But to get that, we need a wave of grassroots support TODAY to fund our critical organizing work.
