FIRST: The Biden administration announced a MASSIVE 8.7% INCREASE to Social Security payments!

THEN: The GOP doubled down on their efforts to CUT Social Security benefits for MILLIONS of Americans attempting to attach it to debt ceiling legislation.

FORTUNATELY: President Biden refused to sign on ANY cuts and stood up to the GOP, protecting Social Security ONCE AGAIN!

BUT NOW: GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has announced the formation of a commission dedicated to “investigating” potential cuts to Social Security and Medicare — and even warned that he’ll make some people “uncomfortable”!

Team: The Republican party is WILDLY out of step with the 72% of likely voters who say they OPPOSE the creation of such a commission and the 93% of likely voters who believe the U.S. should increase or maintain benefits.
