Game and Fish releases draft elk feedgrounds plan for public review

Elk feedgrounds draft plan

JACKSON ??The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is pleased to share its Draft Wyoming Elk Feedgrounds Management Plan for public review and comment. The draft plan, which can be found on the Elk Feedgrounds: A Challenge We Can Take On web page, is designed to guide the department?s overall, long-term approach to elk management as it pertains to the 22 Game and Fish-operated elk feedgrounds in western Wyoming.


Tickets on sale for Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame

CHEYENNE ?? Tickets are on sale for the 2023 Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame. The event will honor inductees Ron Dube, Thomas Ryder, Wayne Hubert and posthumous inductee Albert Nelson. The induction ceremony is Tuesday, Nov. 14 in Cody at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.?The Hall of Fame honors individuals, both living and posthumously, who have made significant, lasting and lifetime contributions to the conservation of Wyoming?s outdoor heritage.


Game and Fish recognizes employees on years of service

CHEYENNE ? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department congratulates four employees on their years of service to the State of Wyoming. The following employees celebrated a milestone work anniversary in June:

  • Brian Olsen, Regional wildlife supervisor, Casper Region ? 35 years
  • Travis Cundy, Aquatic Habitat Biologist, Sheridan Region ? 35 years
  • Grant Frost, Wildlife biologist, Headquarters ? 25 years
  • Stacey Olson, Office manager, Cody Region ? 5 years
