We’re sick to our stomachs…
We witnessed 17 mass shootings over the long holiday weekend – 18 people slaughtered and 102 more wounded across 15 states.
It’s heartbreaking, and it’s unconscionable.
Our country has seen a record number of mass shootings halfway through the year. Yet, gutless lawmakers still refuse to pass meaningful legislation – like the assault weapons ban – to stop the endless bloodshed and protect our communities. That’s why our fight to get weapons of war off our streets and STOP mass shootings has never been more critical. We’re urgently calling on 692 supporters to chip in to help us keep our campaign to reinstate the federal assault weapons ban funded and replace every spineless gun-lobby-backed lawmaker with a champion who will fight to protect our communities. Can you rush $15 before midnight to help? >>
Fourth of July is consistently the deadliest day of the year.
And this year is no different…
…2 people were murdered and 28 more wounded at a party in Baltimore, Maryland.
…3 people were slaughtered and 8 more wounded at a neighborhood gathering in Fort Worth, Texas.
…5 people were gunned down and 2 children wounded in one of the deadliest shootings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s history.
When will enough be enough for our lawmakers to finally take action?
Listen – we won’t quit until our country is no longer plagued by mass shootings. We’re committed to banning assault weapons nationwide and electing gun safety champions. But we need help to keep our movement going to defeat cowardly lawmakers who refuse to stand with us. So can we count on your $15 before midnight? >>
