Dear John,
As we raise our glasses to toast the 75th
anniversary of our National Health Service, the best gift we
can give it is a future.
The NHS is a national
treasure, but after over a decade of Tory government its future has
never looked less certain - and polling shows that only
13% of the country thinks the Conservatives are the best party to
handle it .
Clearly any voting system that puts the
health service in their care is broken.
But, there's a
remedy in proportional representation that would give us a government
that truly represents the country's will and prioritises the
NHS.
Rather than just celebrating the NHS whilst fearing for
its future, help us save it by sharing these stories and demanding a
new voting system - Britain can't wait:
Sandra Can't
Wait People wait over 2 hours for an ambulance even
if they’re having a heart or a stroke, due to chronic government
underfunding and understaffing.
This is Sandra’s
story:
Mary Can't
Wait Doctors are struggling to keep up with the number of
patients needing their help and are terrified of making too many
medical decisions under increasing time pressure.
This is
Mary's story:
Hassan Can't
Wait FPTP has repeatedly elected a government
that drives talented doctors and nurses out of the profession - even
though a majority didn't vote for them.
This is Hassan's
story.
The NHS can't
wait.
As we celebrate 75 years of the NHS,
let's roll up our sleeves to secure its future. Share
our campaign for electoral reform and help ensure the NHS can
serve us for another 75 years and beyond.
Cheers to good
health, change, and a future where every vote counts!
Best wishes, The Best for Britain
