Hello, Friends —

This week, the House of Representatives began its first of several District work weeks. I enjoy this time to meet with you, brainstorm with community groups, and talk with local leaders. Remember, if you need assistance with a federal agency, don’t hesitate to call my office at (850) 479-1183.

After the rough-and-tumble Mueller hearing last week, I’m happy to get a breath of fresh air, away from the Washington swamp, and back home in Northwest Florida.

I recently went on Watters’ World to discuss the Democrats’ inability to internalize the reality of Mueller’s findings of no collusion between Donald Trump and Russia. Watch it here:

Director Mueller’s inability to answer a question begs an important question: who actually wrote the Mueller Report? Was Mueller ‘protecting’ his pals who were in on the plot? We may never know, but clearly there were many, many conflicts of interest within his team.

This article explores several unanswered questions, and is definitely worth a read:

What Mueller Was Trying to Hide

Responsible Solutions for Real Problems

As you know, I introduced the conservative Green Real Deal earlier this year. My Green Real Deal rejects regulation as the driving force of reform, and instead unlocks the potential of American innovation and ingenuity. To follow up on these principles, I am introducing a bill with my colleague and friend Rep. Scott Peters, from California, to develop best practices for reduction of short-lived climate pollutants.

These sources of pollution have a dramatic impact on Florida, as they are one of the key contributors to sea level rise, which affects our homes, beaches, military readiness, and more.

There is nowhere more beautiful than Northwest Florida, and I will continue working to ensure that it stays that way for generations to come.
