John, Roe is in danger.

Since Trump took office in 2017, he and his right-wing cronies have gained two seats for anti-abortion Justices on the Supreme Court. In March SCOTUS will hear the first case on abortion rights since Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in, and this ruling could force the last remaining abortion provider in Louisiana to stop practicing and endanger women’s lives.

Last week we joined allies to observe Roe Day and counter-protested the “Right to Life” marchers at the Supreme Court. NOW members and feminist activists stepped up in record numbers to show our strength and solidarity in defiance of the anti-abortion extremists.

NOW will be there again in March as well as a principal in an amicus brief in the June Medical Services v. Gee case that will be heard by the Supreme Court.

The threat to abortion rights is dire, but I know this for sure—there are more of us than there are of them, and NOW will continue to push forward to protect legislation that guarantees reproductive freedom for all women.
