The Endangered Species Act is back, John

John, for once, we have good news for you.

Four years ago, Donald Trump and his administration stripped protections away from America’s threatened and endangered species, making these animals even more vulnerable, and making it so that corporate profits were prioritized over conservation.

We’re happy to tell you that President Biden and his administration have restored those protections to the Endangered Species Act. The impetus to add a species to the threatened or endangered list will now come squarely from the scientific evidence, and not whether or not it makes life slightly more difficult for a big corporation.

Restoring and strengthening these protections in the Endangered Species Act has been a top priority for SEEC members and for the Biden administration, and this is a sign that our country is getting back on the right track when it comes to saving our planet and everything that inhabits it.

Many of America’s threatened and endangered species are also some of the most iconic symbols of our country, from the bald eagle to the grizzly bear. Working to restore their populations in their native habitats is a worthy goal, and we can’t do it without your help. Will you donate now to support our SEEC Members’ efforts to save the environment?

If we know one thing, we know that Republicans are going to try their hardest to undo these protections once again in order to line the pockets of their billionaire friends who are willing to destroy any habitat and the creatures that live there in order to turn a profit. That’s why we need your help today to make sure that we elect a green majority in 2024 so SEEC can keep fighting the good fight.

Together,

— SEEC PAC

Thanks to your help in 2022, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand. You can click here to only get our most important messages, or you can unsubscribe.
