Sunrise Growers Inc, Issues Recall [ [link removed] ]

*June 21, 2023 - *SunOpta Inc’s subsidiary, Sunrise Growers Inc. of Santa Maria, CA., has issued a voluntary recall of specific frozen fruit products linked to pineapple provided by a third-party supplier due to the potential for these products to be contaminated with "Listeria monocytogenes."

Consumers are urged to check their freezers for the recalled product, not to consume it and either discard the product or return it to the store for a full refund. All other Sunrise Growers products that have different lot codes or best by dates are not affected by this recall. The affected retail customers have been notified of this recall and instructed to remove any recalled product from retail store shelves and inventories.

Santo’s Frozen Foods, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert [ [link removed] ]

*June 23, 2023 - *Santo’s Frozen Foods, Inc. of Tampa, FL., issued a voluntary recall of select boxes of 100 count, 36 count, and 24 count boxes of Deviled Crabs because they contain undeclared milk and sesame seeds.

Recalled product was distributed and available for purchase from March through June 2023.

The Deviled Crabs under recall are packaged in plain brown cardboard boxes with two white labels. The recalled products have a six digit Lot # starting with 23 and ending with 03 or 04 or 05. The Lot # is on a white label on the long side of the box.

Panamerican Foods, LLC Issues Recall [ [link removed] ]

*June 30, 2023 -  *Panamerican Foods, LLC, a distributor and importer of record located in Kearny, N.J., is recalling approximately 4,978 pounds of the pork and beef bean stew products that were imported from an establishment in Brazil that is not eligible to export meat products to the United States.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “76 S.I.F.” on the can. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

House of Raeford Issues Recall [ [link removed] ]

*June 30, 2023 - *House of Raeford, a Nesmith, S.C., establishment, is recalling approximately 76,961 pounds of corn dog products due to possible spoilage.

The mini chicken corn dogs were produced on April 24, 2023.

The product subject to recall bears the establishment number “P- 9136” printed on the package. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

Mondelēz Global LLC Issues Recall [ [link removed] ]

*July 3, 2023 - *Mondelēz Global LLC of East Hanover, NJ.,  announced today a voluntary recall of two varieties of "belVita Breakfast Sandwich" products, manufactured in the United States and sold nationwide, due to the possibility that the products may contain undeclared peanut resulting from cross-contact on a single manufacturing line.

This recall is limited exclusively to the "belVita Breakfast Sandwich" products listed in the grid below, available at retail stores nationwide. No other "belVita" products, Mondelēz Global LLC products, or markets outside the United States are included in or affected by this recall.

Van’s International Foods Issues Recall [ [link removed] ] [ [link removed] ]

*July 3, 2023 - *Van’s International Foods (“Van’s” or “the Company”) of Oakbrook Terrace, IL., is voluntarily recalling certain packages of Van’s Gluten Free Original Waffles, because they may contain undeclared wheat. 

The affected products are labeled with Lot Code #UW40193L and have an expiration date of 1/19/2024*.* To identify the Lot Code and expiration date, please refer to the side of the carton. Consumers who believe they have purchased recalled lot code product are urged to confirm the lot code with place of purchase.

This recall ONLY affects the limited number of Van’s Gluten Free Original Waffles in the lot code indicated. No other Van’s products are included in this recall.
