This is not an isolated incident, but rather a part of a larger, more concerning trend.

The Federal Elections Commission's (FEC) decision to allow foreign companies to spend on U.S. elections has opened the door for those entities to manipulate the outcomes of our elections, undermining the democratic process.

This loophole is being addressed by legislation introduced by Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin, which aims to get foreign money out of U.S. elections.
