Summary:?DHS will email reporting notifications for the 2023 HCBS Labor Market Survey on July 10, 2023. HCBS providers that receive a notification must use the online survey to submit labor market data, as outlined in Minn. Stat. ?256B.4912, subd. 1a.

Audience: Lead agency staff, contracted case management providers, case managers and other interested parties

Effective date: July 1, 2023

Summary: Effective July 1, 2023, disability waiver case managers must complete 20 hours of education and disability-related training each year. They also must offer all working-age people with disabilities benefits-planning assistance and support to understand work incentive programs available to them and the impact of work on their benefits.

Summary:?Effective July 1, 2023, MMIS claims edit 801 will post to deny payment for BI and CADI CL services to people younger than age 55 authorized in CL settings subject to the age limitation. This change ensures ongoing compliance with the federally approved HCBS waiver plans.
