2. Create an account on the top right corner.

3. Click button that says APPLY on the top left corner.

4. The system will walk you through creating an application profile.

5. Page 2 of the application will now allow you to attach the following documents:

Applicants are encouraged to use the online application as the Appointing Authority will have access to your information as soon as it is submitted.

DHS seeking applicants for membership to the Cultural and Ethnic Communities Leadership Council (CECLC)

The Department of Human Services is currently seeking 2023 applicants for membership to the Cultural and Ethnic Communities Leadership Council (CECLC). This council advises the Commissioner of Human Services on reducing disparities and inequities that affect cultural and ethnic communities throughout Minnesota. The following council positions are currently accepting applications:


* Members representing advocacy
* Members representing diverse cultural and ethnic communities
* Members representing the American Indian community
* Members representing serving large cultural and ethnic communities
* Members representing Culturally Specific Human Service Providers
* Members representing serving Faith-based/Spiritual Organizations
* Members who are Department of Human Services employees
* A member representing Human Services Program Participant representing communities of color
* A member representing Parent of Child/ Adolescent Program Participant
* A member representing Private Industry Rep
* A member representing U of M Health Equity Research

Applying for council membership is a three-step process. To assure consideration, interested applicants should first *complete an electronic application through the Minnesota Secretary of State?s **Boards and Commissions website* [ [link removed] ]* by end of day _July 19th, 2023._*

After you submit the electronic application, the Community Relations team will email a supplemental questionnaire which must be completed and returned by *"July 26th, 2023,"* to guarantee consideration for council membership. A panel will review applications and select finalists for brief interview. Recommendations will then be sent to the Commissioner of Human Services for appointment.

Minimum Wage Increase in Saint Paul / Incremento del Salario M?nimo en San Pablo

*The minimum wage for Large, Small, and Micro businesses in Saint Paul is now effective*

On November 14, 2018, Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter signed into law a citywide Minimum Wage Ordinance, Chapter 244 [ [link removed] ]. The signing followed a unanimous vote from the Saint Paul City Council to adopt the ordinance. The minimum wage ordinance implements minimum wage schedules depending on business size. Those schedules can be found on the following?website [ [link removed] ].

Effective July 1, 2023, the minimum wage hourly rate will be: $15.00 for Large businesses, $13.00 for Small businesses, and $11.50 for Micro businesses. The minimum wage hourly rate for Macro businesses is $15.19, which became effective January 1, 2023.?

Under the ordinance, a Macro business employs 10,001+ employees. A Large business employs 101-10,000 employees. A Small business employs 6-100 employees, and a Micro business employs 5 or fewer employees. Employers must count all employees whether employed full-time, part-time, jointly with another employer, or on temporary basis, including employees not located in Saint Paul.
