🕺 Glastonbury Festival 2023
Positive Money logo

Thanks to hundreds of generous supporters who chipped in to our fundraiser a few weeks ago, Positive Money made it down (and back again!) to Glastonbury Festival 2023 - and it was a great success…

From our stall in the Green Futures field, we…

  • gathered more than 1,200 signatures for our petition calling on Jeremy Hunt to break free from fossil fuels to bring down food and energy prices. [1]
  • covered the site in over 500 eco-stickers declaring "Change money, change the world", and
  • spoke to hundreds of people about our work fighting for a better money and banking system, from fixing our broken housing system to calling for a digital pound

Chances like this - to reach huge numbers of people in person who’ve never heard of Positive Money before - don’t come along very often. Outside of mainstream news outlets and social media bubbles, Glastonbury Festival is a unique opportunity to share our message and build our community, - and we’re pleased to welcome so many new supporters on board after last week.

To truly change the money and banking system, we need to reach as many people as possible. Without the resources and budgets of big banks or political parties, that can be hard to do. That’s why in-person events like this one matter so much, and why we’re so thankful to everyone who chipped in to make our presence at Glastonbury 2023 a reality.

Thanks so much for your support,

Rachel, Hannah and the rest of the Positive Money team
